The Story:
Ronix Xperimental Technologies came about when there was a shift going away from traditional “pro model” boards and boots.Consumers for the past 30+ years have seen, ridden or heard the storyline of somebody’s new board and how “stoked” they are on it. Many dealers were telling us we just need to focus on more of the entry level price point options because high end sales wouldn’t be as important in the future. So what did we do? The exact opposite. With the RXT we thought this is a chance for every engineer to throw the wildest designs, construction methods, and new materials into a board and boot. For decades we had been making products for athletes – this was a chance for us to make something that we were inspired by. Why not use this wild eco friendly material that is super popular in sail boats, or other materials that we are sworn to blackout secrecy from disclosing. If this series didn’t work we were content because we could all say we got a chance to all contribute to something new that had never been used in a wakeboarding before. For maybe like a year this xperimental technology and everything it was achieving on the water was all the buzz within our company. As we were getting close to finalizing things Massi got wind of it – asked if he could try out some of the prototypes – and while he was still on the swim deck from set # 1 asked if he could be the ambassador of this special series. The RXT is a testament to the fact that sometimes you just have to follow your gut (coming up with a board/boot package that was $1300 at the time made 0 sense), and enable product managers, engineers and artists to make, source, and design what they are inspired by. Developing this series was like starting Ronix all over again. We had no rules, no preconceived notions, no reason to be safe – let’s just send it. Years later it’s still one of our best-selling series that was so collaborative and anti-conformist at the same time.

Alright, so we created the first wakeboard in 1990, are independently run, and a couple of our owners can do 1080’s - 1 of them can even do a 1260. Doesn’t matter to you? Only 1 factor matters to us – the quality of our product. Sourcing new memory foam in footwear, or a weave of glass better than anything Massi has ever experienced off the wake.
Ronix is a company that is surrounded by perfection with products that take longer to make and are ridden harder. Through our search we truly have created a global company – working with material suppliers in 14 countries across 4 continents. A more expensive way of doing business for sure, but when you slip into our custom orthotic fit boots and hit a left hander at the end of the lake we think you’ll know why.
Starting out strapping into bungees, riding a phaser equipped, directional shape, tri-fin powered special. Through time - admired, mocked and mimicked - until eventually the market was marketed with confusion. Which leaves us here...A clean slate - and friends with similar sound. A non-venting venture of artists, engineers, riders and others as owners making riding devices collectively crafted for the imagination of wakeboarding. Our axiom will always be based on products and tales of tomorrows riding. A chance to make a point, confront the norm, and answer the question why.
PAYMENT
The payment for the products is made upon delivery with cash on delivery. The transportation fee is the responsibility of the customer and is 20 - 40 Romanian lei (RON) for any destination within Romania. You will receive the receipt in the same package as your products.
The minimum order value is 100 RON. The order value on the website includes VAT and all applicable taxes (excluding the transportation fee to your location).
DELIVERY METHOD
The transportation of the products and cash on delivery cost 20 - 40 RON for any destination. These fees will be added to the total price of the order and will be paid upon receiving the ordered products. Our goal is to have your ordered goods delivered as quickly as possible. That's why we begin processing an order immediately upon receiving it. The order will only be honored after a phone confirmation.
